What is the timesheet for?
Timesheets are used to report how many hours of work the provider performed each day of the pay period and the total number of hours worked for the pay period.
What are pay periods? How many hours can I work per pay period?
Timesheets are used twice a month, once for each pay period. The first pay period is the first half of the month, days 1 through 15; the second pay period is for the latter half of the month, days 16 through 31. Do no mail timesheets in until the day after the pay period ends or your timesheet may be mailed back to you. The timesheet will specify the maximum number of hours you can be paid to provide services within the pay period. It is important to remember that you must work evenly throughout the month and not concentrate all your hours in the first half of the month.
